Topic: Question about Recording with Effects from TotalMix FX

Hi - I've watched this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont … e=emb_logo) showing how to record with the TotalMix FX effects being used, and I understand how to set it up......what I DO NOT understand is, where do I find the "Control Panel of my RME Audio Interface" (he refers to this at the 1:20 mark).

I have never seen this in the 2 years I'm using my Fireface UFX 2

Hi!

It's a taskbar icon! Perhaps it got directly on your hidden icons, and you just have to make it visible! If you're on windows, that is.

I don't know about Mac OS. Maybe something similar?

Thanks MetalHeadKeys.  I'm on Windows.  I did a search but cannot find it on my computer - any thoughts?

That's weird.. It, actually, is a system tray icon. So it must be on the right hand side of the taskbar.
What happens if you click on the "Open ASIO configuration" or "Open ASIO Device panel" option, of the DAW you 're using?

Perhaps a windows update, messed with your system tray icons?
Also, do you have the latest firmware and driver installed?

OK found it - it was under MADIface settings (I was looking for "RME" or "Fireface"  - thanks again amigo
