Topic: 32bit output

Hello,

When playing music at 16bit, as output i always see 32bit. Why ?


I am using JRiver with ASIO, ADI 2 DAC.

This is "behind the scenes" information in regards to the data-transfer to the DAC. If you wish to inspect the actual audio-content, RME offers their "DigiCheck" tool which will tell you a lot more about the audio being transferred, including actual bit-depth.

Another point of interest could be the bit-test files available on the website, to verify that your audio-path is working as intended.
