Topic: RME Fireface giving me mono sound

Hello,

I routed that thing as shown in the picture.
- 3/4 = speakers
- 7/8 = phones 2 (Behringer Powerplay Pro)
- 9/10 = built-in phones.

I get mono sound out of my speakers AND my headphones.
- I played a stereo test file.
- The same file on my cellphone with earphones is giving me good stereo results.

What is wrong?

Maybe you send mono from the application (DAW, ... ) ?

Try assigning mono outputs. Only AN 3 to Out 3 and AN 4 to Out 4. Something like this but assigned for your situation. See if that works for you.
