I noticed a bit of an issue with some of the cables I had early when I first bought my Digiface USB a couple years ago, where there wasn’t much of a “click” for the lightpipe cables when plugging in.

It’s gotten noticeably worse on some ports, where I get an unusable signal on I/O 1, but it works just fine on I/O 2. I’ve swapped them to confirm it’s not a cable problem. It seems as if it’s not fitting snug enough to direct the optical light where it needs to go, unless I hold and push it in. I’m afraid I might break it worse if I put any more pressure than I have on it.

I’m a synth repair tech, so opening things up isn’t a problem. I’m just curious if there’s any way to get parts or otherwise fix/replace these jacks for a better connection.
