There has been some monster threads on this forum regarding the USB 2.0 connection problems with the new macs. I'm extremely grateful to everyone who participated, it would seem some people have, rightfully, shed blood, sweat and tears over this subject.

So, assuming that the issues have been solved and I don't need a Thunderbolt Hub, I have a couple of connections questions regarding the Mac Mini 2018.

I would be using it with a Fireface UC, are people connecting using the USB 3.0 ports or Thunderbolt 3(USB-C) ports. There also seem to be quite a few reasonably priced USB C to B Cable cables floating around on Amazon, would these work?
