Topic: HDSPe AIO - Headphone Out is Mix of All Channels

I am finding the HP out of the HSDSPe AIO is a mix of all of the other channels.  I thought this was being forced by Total Mix but there's no controls I can find to remove that mix profile.

Anyone know how to configure this?

Thanks,
Dan Levey

Hi Dan,

If you want to reset the mixer, go to TotalMix FX Options menu, Reset Mix and select "Straight Playback". That mixer setup will remove the state of all playback channels mixed to a "main" output.

Thanks!  That worked.

How do I save those straight playback setting as default when I restart the computer?  Total Mix always goes back to the default mixer setup?

Thanks,
Dan

Save it into a snapshot and in preferences activate the option to always init the DSP with TM FX settings.

See my TM FX primar in this blog:

See RME tutorial videos, short and "to the point", excellent videos:

See manual, its all described there very well.
The AIO manual still has pictures of the old version of TM FX in it.
I think this is mostly of "cosmetic" nature and should not disturb too much.
Otherwise look to the manual of a later product where the newer TM FX was already in place, like e.g. UFX II.
