Topic: RME Field Recorder

Any plans for an RME field recorder, similar to the Zoom?

I would love this and imagine RME would easily compete in this space by offering much higher quality and reliability.

I own RME pro audio gear as well as the ADI for my hi-fi. But going out to record, I have to go to other brands.:/

depends how much "field" portability you need,
UFX series support usb recording,

in broadcast we use Sound Devices MixPre-10 series for very portable recordings (priced around UFX II) and we don't feel the need for RME to compete in this territory to be honest smile
