Topic: Using Fireface 802 with USB-C to USB-B cable?

Hi,
I'm looking at getting a new laptop, and USB-C ports instead of classic USB type A-ports seem to be a new trend. Of course I want to keep using my Fireface 802 with it, so my stupid questions is: could I replace the standard USB-B to USB type A cable that the device came with, for a USB-B to USB-C cable? Or do I have to mess with some hub that probably causes a ton of issues on its own?
