I'm thinking about upgrading the soundcard of my iMac (G5) to  an adi-2 . Currently I've got a m-audio transit (better than the built-in audio, but the sound is not high-end, which I'd like to change :-) ). So I have two Questions:

1. Will the adi-2 be able to receive 24bit/96kHz from the Mac's optical out?

2. Which Adapter do I need to go from the adi-2's output to my stereo's chinch?
