Topic: MIDI problems with FF400.

So everything is working fine apart from a lil struggle with totalmix FX  at first but OK now. However the MIDI is not getting to my DAW’s? I have the break out cable using port 1 and set my daws’s to midi channel “any” but no midi registering. any thoughts?

Outdated driver? Checked Audio MIDI Setup?

Then in that dialog reset the MIDI devices and let macOS search for them again.

Re: MIDI problems with FF400.

Reset of MIDI devices has not solved the issue. I have also noted that the FF400 firmware has an update but the update app will not open in Catalina. I’m also wondering if it’s the break out cable...s’pose I can get my multimeter out!

Re: MIDI problems with FF400.

will there be an update to 64 bit or do I have to use an older 32 bit computer?

I seriously doubt that you have a unit with an older firmware than the one  on our website. Version 1.71 is from 2010.

But I can’t update to that firmware cos it won’t install on Catalina. I starting to think I need a more up to date interface.why is it telling me I have to wait silty seconds between postings and I haven’t posted anything?
