I can't find that filter, I'm on newest (?) firmware ADI-2 DAC: 27/34 what's the deal?

It is not related to the firmware. Only new ADI-DAC FS (v2) and New ADI-2 Pro FS R BE have it. smile

Oh cool, I haven't realized there was a new version ADI-DAC, does it have any other upgrades/improvements?

Besides the DAC chip with the new filter mode (SD LD) and a few dB SNR more / less THD
the Pro model (ADI-2 Pro FS R BE) has now the new MRC remote.

Please see the manual on page 57: no need for correction with the SD LD filter, except if you have bat ear and can detect -0.7 dB at 20 kHz...

Per Noob,

Please refer to the User Manual regarding the Low Dispersion Filter.  Also, please know that Filter "differences" can be extremely difficult to detect reliably in blind tests. (No exploding Soundstages, etc)

IE:  Don't expect a Paradigm Shift...  smile
