Hi,

I love my Fireface 802 but I have quite a few hardware synths requiring MIDI connection. A friend suggested using a Motu Midi Xpress XT and I picked up a used one. I’m not happy with it for various reasons.

Naturally the MIDI timing on the 802 is much better so I wondered if it would be better to attach some Kenton MIDI Thru and Merge boxes to the 802’s MIDI connections. Does this sound like a good idea or would I be better going for another brand of midi interface?
