No, but the "Pro" has some extra functions that you might find useful - or not.

One exception: the new model features an extra DA-filter (SD Low Dispersion) that is not available in the old version.
This filter does sound different, but not worlds appart.

And there is a remote control.

KaiS did not talk about the old ADI-2. The differences between these two units are indeed big. The Pro has better tech specs on all I/Os, plus a ton of features that are useful for music listening. Check their manuals to compare.

I have another question on my ADI from 2005, I enter in Spdif from my computer and I go out in analog in a power unit,
when I tried to connect my vynil preamplifier to the analog inputs, the meter indicated there is sound coming in, but I never can to hear my turntable, except when I connected it to a digital amplifier ... so it does DAC and ADC but does not allow input in analog (Input) and output in analog (Output)?
