Topic: Chaining Multiface II

I want to use 3 MF II with 2 PCIe cards and one PCI card on Windows 10 (x64). Is it necessary to sync them with wordclock or will this be done internally by my PC? Are there any other things I should watch out for? Thanks in advance!

Synchronization is only possibly by
- wordclock or
- by using (or "sacrificying") digital inputs for that purpose (ADAT, SPDIF, AES, MADI)

As the Multiface II supports WC it would be the easiest to use wordclock, one MFII as master, the others as slaves.
Then you can do what you want with your digital ports and do no need to cable them in a way to get clock to every device.
