Topic: New Babyface Pro FS - Not appearing on Windows

USB is connected & the BF turns on but it does not show up in the device manager.
I can't seem to find it anywhere on the computer.
I know the USB ports aren't faulty as I just replaced my old interface & it was working through the same USB port.
My computer reads everything else when plugged in via USB just not the BF FS.
& I'm certain its not the USB cable as its brand new, opened with the BF FS today, as well as when its plugged in it powers on.
Latest driver installs & then when I attempt to run the flash update tool nothing seems to happen.
Have swapped between CC mode & PC mode.

Please advise on what I should do?

Which driver did you install? Can you test a different cable, USB port, and/or computer?
Any unknown device in the Device Manager? Then it might be in CC mode...

The most recent drivers for the babyface pro fs via the RME website & then after driver install
I try to open the fub.exe & nothing happens.
Sorry i only have the USB cable provided via RME it’s brand new & it powers on so it defiantly works. I will try it via another computer though,
I have tried 8 USB ports & I know it’s not the USB ports as a working interface was just disconnected.
Also I tried CC mode & PC mode
Nothing has work so far

I FIXED IT!
The strangest problem but it seemed to work.
I used a different USB cable from my midi keyboard & my computer read it for the first time! It showed in device manger.
I was able to open the fub.exe and update my BF FS.
I then swapped back to the RME USB cable after i updated & its working now.
Super strange, But please try another USB cable if you have the same problem.
