Topic: TotalMix FX doesn't launch on W 10

Hi, I'm new to Windows 10 and I have got a problem.
It's a new PC AMD Ryzen, ASRock X570 Creator (motherboard) which has 2 TB ports.

1) UFX+ is not seen by the TB Controller, but it works well

2) TotalMix FX is not available on start up, I have to reinstall the RME TB driver each time ...

Please, tell me what can I do.

Thanks

Edmond

That board does not have Thunderbolt. It has 2 USB-C connectors with USB 2/3 only.

Re: TotalMix FX doesn't launch on W 10

Hi Matthias,
I'm sure it has. I bought it to use Thunderbolt on my brand new UFX+.

On ASRock site:  X570 characteristics: '2 Intel® Thunderbolt™ 3 Type-C'

The way I found not to reinstall the driver is to switch on the UFX after the PC has started.

Also, I read your post (2017-06-02) : 'To improve recognition on boot I would set the 'Interface format' directly at the UFX+ from Auto to TB.'

Can you tell me please how I set 'directly at the UFX+'

Thanks

I see - the A570 does not have Thunderbolt, but the 'Creator' version has.

Page 11 (chapter 5.2) in the manual shows how to change the interface mode.

Thanks, Matthias.
I followed Quick Start 5.2, the display shows "Interface Mode  Auto"
but I can't change the setting, in fact, I don't know what to do, if I turn  "2" nothing happens.

Unplug the USB and TB cable, then the option should be open for change.
