Hi

Need to connect BF to a pair of powered speakers that has unbalanced RCA inputs. I´we read the manual:

"! The electronic output stage does not operate servo-balanced! When connecting unbal- anced equipment, make sure pin 3 of the XLR output is not connected. A connection to ground might cause higher THD (distortion) and power consumption!

When the manual first states that you should not connect pin 3 (cold) and then after that states that connection to ground (pin1) may cause higher THD. That is to me confusing leaving only pin 2 (hot) as a safe connection - but that's never gonna work?

Can anybody please clarify this? If I follow the first sentence then :
I connect pin 1(ground) on the XLR to Sleeve on the RCA and Connect pin 2(hot) on the XLR to Center pin on RCA and do not connect pin 3(cold) on the XLR to anything ?? But what about the second comment about the ground connection - that is on pin 1 ??
