Topic: HDSPe Aio - how to Insert in PT12?

Hi!

I just entered the RME world by purchasing an HDSPe Aio PCIE Card. Honestly very happy. Thinking of buying a second card, although...

I am trying to "align" inputs and outputs for making inserts in ProTools 12 with no success. I mainly mix and master in my studio, and I need my 8 ADAT I/O to be aligned so I can properly Insert in PT.

Does anybody knows how to do this?

Thank you all!

Windows? ASIO? Mac? You will need to add delays to your tracks in ProTools, IMHO.

Windows 10 with ProTools HD 12. Using the Aio with Rosetta 800 (ADAT) and Dangerous ADDA for monitoring and printing masters through SPDIF. Using ASIO Hammerfall DSP.

Wouldn´t Delay Compensation in PT work? it should, right?

My main problem is that I can´t "align" inputs/outputs. So all inserts are shifted... I managed it to re-route them from TotalMix. But it got a little confusing... Is there any other way?

Thank you!
