Topic: Macbook 15” Catalina won’t start after installing rme babyface pro fs

Hi everyone!
My system (mac osx, latest catalina) won’t start up after it rebooted according to the installation of the babyface pro fs i just bought. Downloaded the latest usb driver.

the apple logo and bar is stuck a 99%

Might need to reinstall catalin. The babyface fs does not work. is there a workaround or a tipp. found one post in january 2020 but the tip did not work.

please help!

Does your system start when babyface pro fs is disconnected from USB?

Did you allow external boot in the system utility? ref:

Hi, we had the same problem with babyface pro and quite new 13 inch macbook pro with catalina. The system did not even start in safe mode, but reinstalling os (recovery boot) and then reinstalling the driver fixed the problem. Quite annoying, i hope you find a way to fix it.
