Topic: Fireface 800 with Octamic

Will the Fireface 800 recognize Octamic II in the aux device tab or just the XTC. Thx

Remote control by "Aux device" feature consists of several components
- in TM FX
- in the particular device
- a digital transport for sending such remote control commands (MIDI, MADI)

Currently Aux Device is only implemented for the Octamic XTC.
With the FF800 you could remote control the XTC over MIDI.

BTW .. the Octamic II has no MIDI or MADI ports, so Aux Device is out of scope for this device.

For the 12Mic Aux device support has been promised by RME (later by firmware upgrade).
But as this device doesn't have MIDI port it requires MADI for sending remote control commands.
So I think  the 12Mic can not be used as Aux Device in combination with a FF800.
