Topic: raydat sample rates.

Hi, I am currently using my raydat pcie card hooked up to my M-32 DA. Along with a newly purchased focusrite adat clarrett. I have noticed that the Clarett will register sync when using adat in and out. However the M-32 DA does not even register lock. It all works fine. My question is that i recently used the SPDIF oon the raydat to send and return to my Lexicon MPX1 outboard reverb. I noticed the raydat said it was 44.1k and the lexicon is only 44.1k, But everthing else in my setup is 48k. I just wonderd if the raydat can work at both sample rates in master or auto sync. Thanks.

Re: raydat sample rates.

AFAIK the RayDAT has no SRC, so it can only work at one sample rate.
If the RayDAT is master, then all other need to be slave.
Clock is being transferred over an ADAT output channel to an ADAT input port.
The Clock slave needs to be configured to read clock from ADAT IN.

Re: raydat sample rates.

Thanks. Its just in the setting box of the raydat its states various digital syncs and sample rates all in real time. I thought it might pull off a fast one.
