Topic: RME Fireface UFX 2 + Ferrofish Pulse 16 + another RME?

Hi All,

My current setup (RME Fireface UFX 2 + Ferrofish Pulse 16) has no inputs anymore, all the inputs are used bij my synths and digital drums.

So what would be a wise move to expand the number of inputs, adding another Ferrofish or does RME offer a better solution? I love the Total Mix environment so it definately has to stay within this environment but with more inputs..

Any advice is welcome..

I would upgrade the UFX II to UFX+ to get MADI
- 64ch at 44.1/48
- 32ch at 88.2/96

There is an upgrade Kit available for modifying your Pulse 16 to Pulse 16MX for MADI.
Then get another Pulse 16MX.

Alternatively get a HDSPe MADI FX which has 3 MADI busses (2 optical, 1 coax MADI), the 3rd coax MADI can be changed with an optional daugher board to be a 3rd optical instead.
