Topic: Babyface and Big Sur

Hello,
I've been happily using my Babyface (original, the blue guy) for years (finally finished an album I had been working on for several years this year!) but today I finally upgraded to Big Sur (on a mid 2015 macbook pro retina) and after trying both the 3.24 and 3.18 drivers, and every ordering of the steps of driver-installation-wizard, security-preferences-approval, and OS restart I could think of but I still cannot get my babyface to show up anymore sad Is there anything else I can try?

Is the unit in CC mode perhaps?

I've tried plugging in with CC and without CC but still can't get it to show up (not even in System Information, even though the leds light up and such). My understanding was that CC mode needs another power source though, so I didn't explore it too much?
