Topic: Fireface UC ( 0 ) no serial

Hello,

I just bought a Fireface UC which sounds great when I use analog INPUTS but I can't play any sound coming from my Macbook pro (13" mid 2012 on 10.13.6 OS). I think it might be related to the fact that the soundcard can't recognize itself in my system profiler.
No serial, no vendor...

In my sound preferencies I can see that it's named : Fireface UC Mac (????????)
In Total mix it s named : Fireface UC (0)  instead of the serial number..

Can you help me please ?

Driver 3.19

Firmware 138? Typo?

Did you try to reconnect the unit, and power it off/on to see if the serial number gets recognized?

You can also try to toggle to PC mode and back to AP mode.

If you can reproduce the same issue on a second computer then the UC might be defective.

Yes typo problem : 138 smile

I tried to unplug and replug, switch to AP and PC..

The host light is flashing.. and still no serial recognized... I don't have another computer...

Any idea?

Host light flashing points to wrong or defective power supply...

Is it safe to test with a non official power supply ? if yes, which power supply should I use ?
