Is it problem free to run rme ucx sound card on usb c port with Mac and Apple M1 chip?

Yes without guarantee.
I have a Macbook Air M1 and the Babyface silver and the Digiface USB they work perfectly fine.
I just connect with a USB to USB-C cable directly into the mac without any hub or adapter.
The UCX uses the same driver therefor I assume it should work fine.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

This is what it says FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 connectivity. Nothing about USB C does not come with any USB C cable either so my question is still does it work and in that case which cable should you get. Understand that the speed may not work but that you can use the card without problems would be good to know.

It will work. Suitable cables are availabe from any RME retailer or distributor. The Babyface Pro FS is delivered with such a cable.
