Topic: Topic: New Tactile Controllers for TotalMix

Hi, this is Vince from MakePro X!

We are soon launching a fully modular, multi-purpose and multi-target controller system. We are here because we like TotalMix and we believe we have a few interesting suggestions for you.

We have not been active in this forum yet – however we're longtime RME users and „worshippers“ - and we think that TotalMix is one of the most powerful mixing engines for recording interfaces.

Have you ever thought about what giving TotalMix FX more tactile control would enable us as users to do with it? Since we are developers and manufacturers ourselves, we thought we might try to merge our hardware with the amazing solutions by RME.

We provide protocol-open, fully customizable and scalable hardware solutions which can control TotalMix via OSC as well as many other control targets at the same time. So for instance, in a studio case you could set up your DSP fx, gains, headphone- and sub-mixes for the musicians, then at the press of a button switch over to your DAW control mapping and put it in record status. Then, for instance, press another button to dim the recording room lights to set the mood. All with one personalized and self-configurated device.

We have our hardware ready and our Glue software is currently in late beta status, and now we are looking for a few Pilot Users who like to join in pioneering a new level of control and access to TotalMix functionality.

If you are a user of TotalMix FX in a professional studio- or live environment and help to shape a powerful new control solution for TotalMix, please apply for joining our Pilot User group!
Registration is open until May 21st 2021.

Follow THIS LINK to a web page where we provide exclusive insight into our system and our pilot program for TotalMix. We are very much looking forward to hearing about your personal thoughts and ideas!

Welcome, Vince!

Seems like a marvellous idea. I was playing with a very, very similar DIY idea. This looks better, of course.
