Topic: [Solved] UCX iPad-Mac Totalmix Remote "no acces!"

Hello,
I am now unable to connect Totalmix Remote iPad with my UCX.
i am on a Mac with Big Sur, UCX Drivers and firmware are updated.
the only change in my working configuration was a new mesh wifi system (with no no firewall).
Both Mac and iPad are on the same wifi network.
when launching Totalmix remote it recognizes the UCX then a few seconds after it displays "no acces!" (I tried on two different iPads with same result).
I am stuck ... thanks in advance for any help

Are you sure you have enabled TotalMix Remote Server in the Options, Network Remote Settings menu of your UCX TM ?

Had similar issues and never got totally to the ground of them, for lack of network expertise. One thing I noticed though were changes from time to time in the host mac’s automatically applied IP address, performed by the router’s DHCP, while on our Mesh Wifi network. Since said mac is on a wired network connection: no change in IP address, no problem.

yes I suspect that it is linked with the mesh system but I have no way to install a wire

SOLVED

I had enabled the "user management" on the Totalmix Mac Side by inadvertance.
Now that it is disabled, everything is working again
