Topic: FF800 Not Recognized After Power Outage

Hey everyone!

So, I've had my FF800 since 2013 and it's served me very well. This morning there was a short power outage at my home and now the unit isn't being recognized by my 2012 i7 iMac running High Sierra 10.12.6.

The unit powers up. All the lights are on. However, the computer doesn't see it. I've tried restarting my iMac. I've tried reinstalling the drivers. I've switched out the Firewire cables... I've tried everything to no avail.

Just wondering if I have any other options other than: The unit is fried.

Can you test the unit with another computer?

Yeah, I tried it with my touring MacBook Pro. Nothing. Just sent an email to support. Hope you guys can fix it.
