I followed the installation instructions for m1 Macs on Big Sur with my M1 MacBook Air installing the Madiface XT drivers. Unfortunately, I hit a problem starting in safe mode and trying to switch to reduced security. I got the message that no admin could be found. My user account is registered as a administrator and I don't have any problems logged into macOS.

I don't want to start all over with all kinds of installations agains only to find out that fresh install would also not solve this problem! Is there any solution in sight for m1 Macs on Big Sur that does not require such workarounds? I cannot use my audio interface with this Mac and the OS and hardware is not that new, is it?
