Topic: RME Babyface PRO won't show up on MacBook Air 2021

I have been running my Babyface Pro (5-6 years old) on my iMac and it worked fine. Now I installed the driver usb 325 version on my MacBook Air Big Sur version 11.3.1. (M1). I can't find it on Device on my Logic Pro X. On my iMac Total Mix and the RME logo pops up automatically, on the MacBook Air it does not, which tells me i'ts not properly installed.
I read something about rebooting? Do I have to reboot the whole computer? That sounds a bit extreme.
Any tips for installing it on a MacBook Air?

The driver comes with a clear and detailed readme which includes the exact installation steps.
