Topic: Power On ADI-2 FS

Dear All,

I've just purchased an ADI-2 FS. I am about to link it up with my FireFace UC via ADAT, to have a primary DA converter for my ADAM A7X monitors.

Now my question is, how do I actually power on/off the unit when I don't want to use it? I am quite surprised by the fact that there is no power button at all.

Just like you do with all devices when there is no on/off switch. Power strip with on/off switch or timer.

In that case, in your opinion would it be OK to use this dedicated FURMAN unit to distribute power towards my FireFace UC and the ADI-2 FS?

I could use the main power button on the FURMAN unit to turn on the ADI-2 FS too, while the FireFace UC could be turned on/off separately anytime as it has its own power switch on the back side.

Just one more question, I hope you don't mind I didn't open a brand new topic for this.

I would like to mount both my FireFace UC and ADI-2 FS into the RME Unirack 19 rack tray. Are these two units fully compatible with this tray? (Both of them have the required mounting holes at the bottom.)
