Please, let me know some hint info, other than the manual, how to record via spdif into USB...

Recording SPDIF to USB requires to set the input source manually to the desired function. See manual chapter 12.1 Subpage Settings, Source.

If you did this then tell us what you did after that and what doesn't work.

Waedi, please refrain from giving tips on units that you don't own. Nearly all you wrote above is wrong.
