Maybe this has been answered before but I thought I'd ask anyway:

What I really enjoy on Windows and my RME UFX is the ability to setup any input as a source on software like OBS with no setup.

For example, you can fire OBS up, and choose if you want to record input 9 for example. Then create another input and record input 10 etc.
This means you have a separate audio stream for each input on the UFX.

However, this option is not available on the Mac. You only have the option to record the loopback channel but not separate inputs.

Are there any plans of implementing this functionality on the Mac or will it remain a Windows thing?

I am planning on switching 100% to mac soon so it would be great to know if this would be possible somehow.
