I purchased an old ADI2 converter to use as 2 extra IO's via AES for my UFXII.

Everything is connected, and works fine.
However, i notice on the input channel in totalmix that the signal is peaking about 6db below 0dB (clearly 0db on the ADI-2 inputs becomes -6db on the AES input of the UFX-II)

Is there a way to rectify this?

I don't really know what causes this, i'm thinking possibly the cables i used, but i figure a digital signal should either just work or not work at all?
