Topic: Speakers Too Loud ?

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for this forum and this community which have been helpful many times for me. I don't usually add topic, but I'm completely lost.

I've been using an Arturia Audiofuse 8pre (rack version) for a few months now, and a pair of Focal Alpha65. Everything connected using Jack TRS to XLR (Alpha 65 input are XLR only).

The main problem is that my volume is way too loud on speakers. At first, I thought the knob on the interface was not calibrated properly, and giving way too much output.

Anyway, I've been thinking for months about buying a Digiface USB, and I finally did it! TotalMix videos were so attractive, and the software so powerful! Anyway, Digiface has found its place on my desktop and is connected to the Arturia via ADAT.

Volume stays loud, very loud. Here's a screenshot attached. You can see I'm only hitting -60db on Main, and volume is more than enough...

Do you guys have any idea ?

Thanks a lot in advance

Seems that has nothing to do with us. Cure most probably here:

Re: Speakers Too Loud ?

Hey, thanks a lot Matthias for your fast answer, and sorry for the response delay. I thought it was not TotalMix, but since I'm missing knowledge on this topic I wanted to be sure !

By the way, I'm programming my snapshots regarding my usage, and it seems that Mono button inside Control Room section does not change its state across snapshots? I've seen the Do Not Load option under preferences, but it does not change anything.

Am I missing something ?

Thanks a lot again,

No, that behavior is intentional.
