Topic: MADIFace XT USB C Issue

Hello,

I’ve got 4 MADIFace XT’s, 3 of which are running happily on USB B to C.

The 4th unit is not recognised when connected via USB-C with either it’s own cable, or any of the known working cables. It does however work perfectly using a USB B to A cable with a USB-C adapter..

When connected with USB-C the USB light on the front just flashes constantly and never connects.

Has anyone heard of this issue? Would love some advice.

Edit: All units are on the latest firmware and latest drivers.

How old is that unit and what is its serial number?

Not sure how old that particular one is, it’s racked next to another that was purchased at the same time that is working.

Serial number is : 23811123

This unit is from 2017, with no issues known. That said the USB input might be partially damaged to show this kind of cable sensitivity. If you decide to send the unit in for checking please inlcude the cable that shows the issue.

And we are talking about USB 3.0 all the time, right?
