I've got an iMac Pro. Has no FireWire ins. 4 usb-c and 4 regular usb ins only. On the back on my fireface I have a male to male regular usb adapter plugged into the female to male usb cable into the back of the imac. Protools fully updated. iOS is Monterey. Any rme driver I download doesn't work. I click on the app and it jumps up and down once and doesn't open. Even when I look at the usb info of the imac it doesn't recognize there's something plugged into the usb slot, just my mouse and ilok. I have my fireface plugged into the wall since no lights were coming on anytime I tried launching some kind of driver for the fireface. I have even gone into security in preferences and allowed Mac to recognize the rme driver. I guess it's technically not firewire anymore since the back of the Mac has no firewire input and the drivers seem to be firewire drivers. I found a usb driver but that didn't seem to work either. Anyway it's getting frustrating. Any help would be great and appreciated! Thanks
