I made the purchase of ADI-6432 R BNC, thinking that I could use it to connect to my ADA-8XR through its XLR cables.
I should have bought ADI-6432, and not ADI-6432 R BNC. Now,

I now have a choice of selling my ADI-6432 R BNC and get ADI-6432, or keep ADI-6432R BNC and use the adaptors below for my connection with the XLR cables coming from ADA-8XR.

The ADI-6432R BNC provides 64 channels of format conversion from MADI to AES-3id and vice versa.

The other machine, ADI-6432 converts all 64 channels of a single MADI stream to 32 AES/EBU ports and vice versa.

With ADI-6432R BNC, AES-3id, an extension to the AES-3 standard also known as AES/EBU, carries the exact same data as the latter, but uses a different cable (75 Ohm unbalanced instead of 110 Ohm balanced) with different connectors (BNC instead of XLR) and lower voltage (1 Vpp instead of 4 Vpp). Therefore, the ADI-6432R BNC has 64 BNC connectors on its back.

Here is the question. For ADI-6432R BNC, if I use the adaptors such as the ones below, would the setup with ADI-6432 R BNC become the same as the setup with ADI-6432? Any disadvantages or negative impract on the sound quality? (or advantage, if any)
