Topic: [Solved] UFX+ madi inputs and outputs not showing in DAW

Hi,
I have the UFX+ connected to a Ferrofish A32 (discontinued) via madi on a windows 10 system (USB)
The A32's inputs and outputs show up perfectly in totalmix.
Would anyone be so kind as to offer any assistance on how to see these madi inputs and outputs in DAW in order to record them?
They are not showing up at all. Ableton or Cubase only see the 30in/out's of the UFX+.
Not sure what I am missing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You use USB 2. For more than 30 channels you need USB 3 or Thunderbolt.

Thank you so much.
I feel a little silly as I was not using the supplied usb 3 cable. I didn't realise there was a difference between usb 2 and usb 3 cables.
