Topic: UFX+ to Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX setup?

Can't seem to find a step by step setup guide for adding a ferrofish mx to my UFX+

They're connected via the madi cable. 
The ferrofish remotefish software sees the unit
I set the clock on the ferrofish to use Madi
Set midi routing to Madi
I added the inputs and outputs to TotalMix

I see some signals showing up on the Ferrofish's front screen for the synth I connected to it.  But not in Remotefish
And I don't see any signals in TotalMix.

What's missing?

Each MADI device has it's own routing.
Maybe you forgot to route channels from Ferro to UFX+. And if Ferro is similar to RME 12Mic then the other MADI channels need to be routed through the device.

It seemed like the default routing on the ferrofish made sense but I played around with it and eventually got some output to totalmix.  I need to do more testing.  But so far much better.

BTW I also have an ADAT expander connected (an OPTX eurorack module) and that works.
