Topic: Phones OUT PH 3/4 = Line level OUT

Please add usefull think for use PH 3/4 like unbalanced CD player outs for ADI 2PRO
In PH 3/4 properties add profile
Phones OUT PH 3/4 = unbalanced CD out.
0dB digital full scale = 0dBV
0dBV = 1Volt rms.
And auto disable bass/trible/eq in this mode.
Only volume/balance knobs is stay working.
Thank you.

Who needs that? If you do why not simply save the desired state in a Setup and load it whenever needed?

BTW, unbalanced CD player output would be +8 dBu = +6 dBV @ 0 dBFS.

It is necessary for all those who are familiar with the level standards.
Who knows closely with analog and digital recording and that every element of the audio path can be easily overloaded by non standart levels.
CD like any other source must comply with the standard levels. not +8 +10 ets. Only by dBu or dBv scale.
Very good source for all

The most common (quasi - but nonofficial standard) CD player output level is 2 V.

2 V = +8.2 dBu = +6 dBV.
This is all the same level, just other units to express it.

It‘s very easy with AD-2 to dial every level you want, based on Reference Level and Volume Control.
Then there is the option to lock volume.

It‘s even in the manual page 99:
“For example when the analog output should operate like a typical HiFi unit @ 2 V output level (equals +8 dBu), set the hardware Ref Level to +13 dBu and Volume to -4.5 dB.
More examples:... “
