Topic: UFX+ not recognized on Win7 old laptop

Hello everybody,
I´m still very happy RME user of UFX, XTC and UCII since 2011!
I bought recently also the UFX+ and installed it without any problems on my new HP Elitebook 850. But instalation on my old HP Probook Win7 with USB2.0 failed and UFX+ did not appear in the device manager whatsoever. All other RME interfaces work properly on this laptop (which I like to use for location recordings, because it´s dead silent!) and I assume it must be the USB 2.0 thing. Do you have any hints? Maybe it´s worth trying an expresscard /usb 3.0 with it?

I just did a quick test with an old laptop using Windows 7/32. Latest driver and firmware and TotalMix still work in USB 2 mode.

Hello Matthias,
of course it works!!! Silly me, I wasn´t aware of the possibility of changing USB2/USB3 Interface mode inside UFX+.
It works like a charm on my 2012 HP laptop:).
