Could Apples new Driverkit help in the development of keeping the Fireface devices running?

Particularly for FireWire (Fireface 400 & 800)

The AudioDriverKit is not the same as the DriverKit we are currently working on, and it is no option for us for various reasons.

AudioDriverkit is a subset of Driverkit though?
