Topic: Link to Speakers B Out problems

Hi all, I don't know if I was treated before, but I have a strange issue with total mix and my Fireface UFX+.

Monitor routing is:
The main speakers Genelec 8350 to AES out, and Mastering speakers Anphion or Rasch Audio connected on adat 7-8 using converter RME 8channel AD DA converter via Adat

I've matched the volumes Main with Speaker B
Selected Link on Speaker B to connect the main volume after matching
Stored the preset on snapshot 1

All good until I'll restart the Mac.
After restarting the mac the Totalmix appears as before seems right, but the volume matching linked is completely wrong and I've to reset at every restart of the system.

What's wrong? everything else works fine except this
I'm at 44 or 48khz same problem

I'm on Mac M1Pro, Big Sur OSX, RME UFX+ via thunderbolt, RME ADDA 8 channel via Adat to UFX.

Hi Jurij,
check if quitting TMFX before shutting down Mac helps.

thanks for the suggestion, I'll try later but this has no sense if is saved in the snapshots :-)

Jurij, please clarify the details of the unwanted behaviour.
I thought you find the wrong setting after a system restart.
Are the settings also wrong when you recall your snapshot?
There’s a setting in TM preferences not to recall Control room settings, maybe you need to un-check that.

Thanks for asking, yes the problem is still there when I recall the snapshot, snapshot works fine for everything on totalmix expect this. Speaker B is always out of range when link is enable and system restart.

I've noticed that now I think is important

The Main Out fader is not affected by the snapshot, try to move the Main fader and change the snapshots. If I link a second speaker to the Main out happens the same so is not affected by the snapshots. Some one can try this?

there is a preference somewhere?

Yes, there’s a setting in TM preferences not to recall Control room settings, maybe you need to un-check that.
