Topic: How does MIDI works with the UFX+ Interface?

Hi,
I would like to connect a roland td4 (midi out) to the UFX+ interface (midi in) to trigger sounds in Cubase (toontrack, EZdrummer3).
Unfortunately, the LED light at MIDI IN 1 is flashing constantly and I can't trigger.
What is the misconception here?
