Topic: Using two TotalMix windows FF800 1 FF800 2

Hi

i have daisy chained two units  FF800 X 2 together using the firewire 800 cable and using word, out of the master into the slave.

The units sink very well,

Of course there are two TM windows to deal with one has the signal the other at the moment does not, since i can not find any tutorial on this type of method i thought i would fire the question here, haha fire the questio...... fireface ok jokes aside.


TotalMix is quite straightforward after you spend time with it, well at least straightforward until you need to use two mixing windows

I think i understand now

What ever channel signal you need in TM 1 or 2 you need to assign it from your DAW so its kind of like a mixer split into two but one mixer if that makes sense.
