Topic: Intel iMac Big Sur: UCX II not working with latest driver 3.28?

Hello,

I love my UCX II, just want to report that after updating to the latest driver version 3.28 I can no more use it on my system - Big Sur 11.7 on Intel iMac (2016).

The "Fireface USB Settings" app does not start automatically when the UCX starts up. If I start the app manually, it recognizes the UCX and shows its correct serial number.
UCX does not show up in Sound System Preferences, and other apps like Audio Midi or Ableton Live do not see it either.

Anybody having similar problems? 

I reinstalled the older driver version 3.27 and everything is working again.

This may not help much

If the 3.27 older driver is working good then stay with it, using your unit is much much more important than a driver update.

When a driver update comes along dont just dive in and update, or you could mess up your project, just wait and research to see how the compatibility turns out,

try to complete any projects you have, as long as the unit is stable there is no need to pull the trigger on a driver update so fast,
