Topic: Used Market fair price for RME ADI-2 PRO FS 1st gen

hello everyone,

I have the opportunity to buy a used RME ADI-2 PRO FS (grey one with rackmount option), and I would like to have your opinion regarding a fair price for this kind of unit ?


I'm considering also to buy a used ADI-2 FS (AKM4493), but the used Pro 1st gen is 300 euros more, so what would you do ?

My need : better DA converters than my motu 828es to my focal trio 11be.
If I go with a Pro version, the AD converters would be used to record the output of a dangerous 2bus+.

I would get the Pro as it offers more unique and useful features.

Preferably as little as possible :-)

Sorry, but you have to make up your mind. Especially nowadays prices are in motion due to supply chain problems, price increases, supply, and demand. Used items are more important when new items are hard to get. It also certainly depends on what the supply situation is generally in your country.

If you see a unit in good condition and there aren't many alternatives right now, I'd go for it if the price is reasonably.

The audio quality was excellent, even on the first ADI-2 Pro models. All models can be updated with firmware and driver upgrades. So, there's nothing to worry about.

I think I could negociate it for 1200 euros.
