Topic: Clarity M, Optical, SoundID

Hi there,

I'm about to purchase a TC Electronic Clarity M to save some screen space while I'm mixing and mastering. I know there is a plugin that sends info from my DAW to the Clarity M, but I would like to monitor my system audio as well. The problem is that I'm using SoundID calibration on my system and therefore I'd get wrong information sent to the Clarity M.

My question is - if I connect the Clarity M to my Babyface Pro FS via an optical cable, can I send a signal from my system that is uncalibrated?

I know there is a workaround using VB Audio Virtual Cable but I find that it's destabilizing my system.

Grateful for any help!

Bump! Noone?

Re: Clarity M, Optical, SoundID

Can you route the audio signal in the DAW to two different outputs, one with, the other without calibration?
Then you would be able to route the one or the other signal (TM FX SW playback channel) to SPDIF/Clarity M.
