Topic: UCX II + QuadMic II?

Does this combination make sense (via 4x analog connection)? I am thinking about extending the UCX II to have more Mic preamps. Octamic or 12Mic would allow digital connections, but are also much more expensive and too much for me.

Of course it would be nice if RME would update the Quadmic some day to have digital connectivity.

Fully up to you, depends on whether you have the analog ports on the UFX II free for that or not.
